Michael D. Smolen

Professor

Introduction:
Dr. Smolen is the Extension Coordinator for statewide educational programs in water quality. He conducts research in nonpoint source pollution control.


Degrees & Universities:
B.S. Biology with a Minor in Chemistry, University of Rochester (1967)
M.S. in Botany with a Minor in Biochemistry, University of Tennessee, (1970)
Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and
State University, (1976)
