Introduction
Dr. Kumar joined the department in June of 2009. He has both research and teaching appointments. His research involves thermochemical conversion of biomass for biofuel production. Experimental study and modeling are both parts of his research approaches to develop more efficient and predictable gasification processes for a wide variety of feedstocks.
